Freddimir Garcia

Freddimir Garcia serves as the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Officer for HGAR since 2021.

He has over 8+ years leading DEI work in various industries including higher education, healthcare, human services, and now real estate. He is heavily involved throughout the Hudson Valley community through his volunteer work serving on various nonprofit organizations. He has led and taught on various Fair Housing/DEI topics that include implicit bias, cultural competency, inclusive leadership, microaggressions in the workplace, recruitment & selection, and more.

Freddy holds a Diversity & Inclusion Professionals Certificate from Cornell University, ILR School and a two-time Marist College graduate holding an MBA and B.S. in Business Marketing.
