Real Estate owned or REO is a term used in the United States to describe a class of property owned by a lender, typically a bank, government agency or a government loan insurer. The course reviews the requirements that financial institutions generally follow when selecting a real estate professional in listing their inventory. Students will leave knowing how to represent both buyers and sellers effectively in these tricky transactions, including aspects to be aware of relating to agency and fair housing regulations.
