This course will give the background on the appraisal profession we are today, current, laws and standards. The students will walk away understanding when communication with the appraiser is permitted, the appraiser will understand how they can stay in incompliance with USPAP and state licensing laws. The Course will address Dodd Frank; section F that addresses the appraisal independence. There is a review of Fannie Mae and HUD policies so the appraiser will understand the supplemental standards of the secondary market when completing their appraisal report. The real estate agents will understand the policy and steps to take when an appraisal rebuttal or reconsideration of value is warranted. The appraiser that is hired to complete a review on an appraisal that a borrower would like to challenge and the proper steps that can be taken. This course is designed for both appraisers and sales agents and brokers to attend for the communications between the two licensed/certified professionals to be understood.
