At the end of this class, you will be able to identify major elements for general structure and learn the key definitions.
- Explain how a furnace and boiler system operates and their key components
- Identify and explain what is a high-efficiency heating system
- Recognize the differences between steam and hot water boiler systems
- Develop knowledge about buried oil tanks and the remediation process
- Learn the different types of domestic potable hot water systems, (i.e., Tank, On-Demand, Instantaneous, and In-Direct Systems)
- Learn the differences between an Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems and overall operations
- Explain the functionality of a chimney system relative to a fireplace and exhaust system
